近年来，中国有越来越多的城市开始建造地铁。发展地铁有助于减少城市的交通拥堵和空气污染。地铁具有安全、快捷和舒适的优点，越来越多的人选择地铁作为每天上班或上学的主要交通工具。如今，在中国乘坐地铁正变得越来越方便。在有些城市里，乘客只需用卡或手机就可以乘坐地铁。许多当地老年市民还可以免费乘坐地铁。

In recent years, a considerable number of cities in China have begun to build subways. Developing subways can help reduce traffic congestion and air pollution in cities. Owing to the fact that the subway has the advantages of safety, speed and comfort, a host of people choose subway as the main means of transportation to work or school every day. Nowadays, it is becoming increasingly convenient to take the subway in China. In some cities, passengers can take the subway simply by using a card or cell phone. Many older residents can also take the subway for free.

英文多长句，中文多短句。在汉译英的时候，可以加一些逻辑词把前后句的内容连起来。比如，“地铁具有安全、快捷和舒适的优点，越来越多的人选择地铁作为每天上班或上学的主要交通工具。”通过语义判定前后是因果的逻辑，所以可以在前面加上“Due to the fact that...”“owing to the fact that...”, 也可以在中间加上“thus/consequently/therefore”。另外，“越来越(多/方便)”的表达出现了3次，考生应尽量避免使用“more and more...”，建议结构“ a considerable number of /a host of/ it is becoming increasingly ”。
