加大阅读量。文章是由词汇组成的，词汇量的扩大与阅读能力的提高相辅相成。词汇量增大了，阅读文章时的障碍减少了，阅读起来自然如风行水上、轻松自在;同时，通过阅读来练习词汇，不仅能够让单词反复在脑海中打下烙印，而且可以使我们接触到许多新的习语和用法。

阅读材料可分为练习题和报刊杂志两种。对于练习题的选择一定要慎重，一些练习题中出题者的主观因素太重，基本没有练习价值。练习题要定时读，读了以后立刻作测试。

准备一本笔记本。在每天记单词和阅读的时候，肯定遇到一些特别难记的单词和接触到一些新的用法，这时候将它们记下来，多挤时间看，并且过一段时间系统地整理一次，这样日积月累，有针对性地复习，词汇量自然就上去了。
